No news. There was just no buyers while it was dropping until the low 8's. And even then it had lots of difficulty recovering. I cut my losses short and will move on, but may watch amkr. The chart says there is more weakness and if it breaks 8, the next support is at 6, for another 20 percent down. Long term, if you can hold that long and we don't have a bear market, amkr will most likely reward shareholders. But, I am now in cash and contemplating short positions only, since I think the overall market will tread water at best for awhile. I also think the weakness in the general market will take the big averages down soon. The other factor here is that semi stocks are once again the darlings of the street and starting to falter a little. It is my opinion that another sector rotation is taking place. Moving out of semi's and retail and into some of the beaten down out of favor plays like metals and oil. If I am right on this, it spells bad news for the market in general, since oils and metals lead in times of trouble for the most part. Just my opinion. Good luck. I am not short amkr, but am no longer long either. That weak support at 8 with the next being at 6 is just too risky for me. Especially when the stronger suport at 9 3/8 got taken out with conviction.
