What a bunch of nutballs over on the GNET thread. They get a chance to bounce ideas around with Fleck on one of only two longs he has, but now they are giving him personal grooming advise. -g- Well, he puts up with the crap much better than I would.

And would you quit inviting these nutcases over to the threads we inhabit? Capt. Stubbing is about to get an anchor tied to his neck and the deep six.

I was thinking about BM's post to which ahaha replied. For whatever reason, I thought the drop in short-interest is not at all bad news. BM appears to be too much focussed on the assumption that next major upswing has to come from "short-covering." If you start with this assumption, all you see is conspiracies. OTOH, the drop in short-interest and rise in long positions would indicate that gold dynamics have changed. Hopefully the POG will rise from here on. Of course, ahaha has offered some real reasons whereas mine are simple guess work. Knowing his investment acumen, I will go with my intuition to buy more NEM if it drops further on Monday.

Thanks for linking ... always good to read folks with strikingly different opinions. I just like gold because it is relatively cheap, paper is being printed like nobody's business and historically gold has had its days when people bought in a panic. I'm just buying and holding for a panic -- we are about due, that's all.
