Well, it appears the SEC is doing probes now on internet posters. Interesting thing is complaints gives the SEC the opportunity to look at the trading logs of the complainers too. I just discovered IKAR finally got halted even though they put a news release where they have been putting out misinformation for 2 years. It still was allowed to trade for a few months.

People when they begin to detect information (DD) changing from one survey to the next should have flags going off big-time that maybe something is wrong. Also pay attention to naysayers ... I see you flared up the shorters ... LOL ... nothing like a good composite to nail those that take advantage of the normal investor.

Since becoming an IR this year for two companies, I have learned even more about this vicious market. I refuse to tout or promote ... only clarify the public information. Not even sure I will continue as one either. I get screamed at for not speculating and so forth.

Companies should define themselves in the filings, news releases, and websites. Not through on-line news letters, touters, promoters and what-not. Anyone can build a site with Microsoft Front Page. Everything should be on the website too.

Everyone should be responsible to check on their investments from time to time and compare the new information with the old. Also make note of certain posters that pump, tout or doubt without an underlying basis or are just flat out emotional. These are also warning signs where no information is being shared only emotional opinions.

Good DD records on stocks including copying posts and verifying which saves time and money in the DD process helps people discover scams and so forth. As far as your scammy awards ... as long as companies can trade and not report you will be fine and even then you will have false information in filings and press releases.

Just a lot of hard and time consuming work to avoid scams. You can take a horse to water but you cannot make them drink. OTC is dangerous as a friend of mine once said "The OTC is the Casino of the stock market."
