Salva, sorry but I do not follow IFM & I don't yet know enough about BCE's potential sale to form an opinion.

What I do know is that companies such as CGI & IFM have grown under the careful grooming of BCE's sheltered wing. The time has come where they can now fly on their own. Witness CGI's expansion into Portugal.

Business isn't always better price or better product. Who you know has a tremendous impact on a company's sales and growth. This is called "Foot-in-the-door". CGI has benefited tremendously from such incestuous contacts. However there comes a time when you'll have exhausted these contacts.

An American partner will suddenly bring in a new slate of so called contacts which will result anew in getting your "Foot-in-the-door".

Therefore, I would welcome a deal, providing of course that the deal is made with a company which can contribute positively.
