Tom:

No, you're right, there is not a VSE regulation prohibiting the pp. And in fact, if you look the p.p was already approved by the VSE. As I understand it, the p.p was halted on moral grounds (believe it or not) by Starcore's Board of Directors, who did not want to proceed until the assays were known. And unless I'm very mistaken, the private placement was a group consisting of some of the Board members themselves. Rather than make that deal, they figured they could AFFORD to wait!! WOW!!

If you look at another fiasco, such as Diamond Works, where the company halted the trading for over a month, worked out a private deal and then basically sold out the little guys... Which exactly what Starcore wanted to avoid

I'll say it one more time... I don't think Starcore wanted to do anything to jeopardize this development, and appears to be going to great lengths to ensure that everything is above board.

The pp will go ahead, I can just about guarantee it.

Now if they're truly just being greedy because as you said "this is the mother of all deposits" then you and I, as the small investor win either way right.

LEt's hope for the best

Greg
