Yes, I think IBM is recognizing their true competitor (cpq) and the deal with Dell is to compromise cpq... nurse Dell along so that cpq feels the heat from both Dell and IBM, in the box world, and in the server and service industries. Very clever... it seems to be working, i.e., IBM is not dropping as badly as cpq and dell.
