Good point ... the freedom of speech is/has always been being attacked and the responisbility of duty in rhetoric. I have already had the government all over me for doing something I thought was right and still do. To date I have not been charged with an innuendoe but I still could be I guess. Who knows. I am posting again and exercising my freedom of speech. All in all, I just think people should be careful of what they are doing ... I am not an attorney and do not think for a nano-second I know what I am talking about in a legal sense. Just have to let it work itself out. Heck, scalping is a problem also but if you tell people you will be selling is it scalping? Who knows since there are a lot of people who are trading and not working a regular job with the internet. Have they become professional in the market now? People that are not the professionals are now being questioned ... Go figure ... Just my opinion Gary

Hey, Money, that's a good point re SI ! And a qquestion for thoroughness, is SI liable in any way for anything? I saw someone else post that question, but didn't really see any responses. Is it also possible that ppl will or are short SI and hoping for that very thing you mention - of SI going downhill? You've probably seen my posts about wanting to keep up the quality of the posts so as to not to become like the negative/bashing type posts on Yahoo. I paid my money to gain access to the quality posts and dialogue. I lurked for quite a while, not wanting to pay the membership fee based on principle that there were other message boards on the internet and I figured I get to read the messages anyway. But, I felt I wanted to discuss things with posters. On the thd I set up, I pose the question, can pump and dump be construed to apply to negative bashing etc, etc. ? I am all for shorting of companies that have run up and appear overvalued for whatever reason, but I'd like to hear/read the reasoning, just as in the case of deciding to go long a stock. If there is nothing but something along the lines of "this stock is garbage" without any other info, isn't that along the lines of a pump DOWN? Subject 26566
