FOOD FOR THOUGHT: FACT: Just ran a check on IQ Charts for INTC, daily charts, using MACD signals only. If you went long whenever the CD line crossed from under the average, and short whenever the CD line crossed from above the average you would have... ...made 14 trades in 1998; ...of which, 9 would have been winners; ...and 5 of which would have been losers; ...with the winners averaging 9.38 points per trade; ...and the losers averaging 2.54 per trade; ...for an average gain, without compounding, of 74%; ...or an average gain, with compounding, of 105%.
