I recently bought 2 Q phones for my wife and I. I looked at the previous generation, the one with an antenna, and I thought they seemed cheap and poorly made. In contrast, these new phones are GREAT! Their quality seems much better than the StarTacs that have turned to junk and need replacing. I've only been using my Q for about a week, but I love it. They feel very sturdy. No antenna. The call quality is incredible. I'm on Airtouch and haven't found any deadspots except deep inside buildings.

I only have 2 complaints, but they don't change my mind about the phone. First, I would like longer battery life without having to get the long life cell. The long life cell is thicker, and doesn't fit in the leather belt case. Second, the user interface could be a little better. I have no problems with it myself, but as an investor, I'd like to see it as simple as the Nokia 61xx series. On the other hand, my experience with the Nokias' voice quality haven't been close to the Q. Not even the same league. One other note, it would be great to get an iRDA port.

Just thought people might want a user's perspective.

Thanks,
Mike
