Phil, FYI :New subjects have a short term advantage to getting on the "HOT" subject list, because some ot the criteria used compares previous traffic on the thread ( which is zero or small in the case of a new thread ) to current traffic. To stay on the "HOT" subject list for more than a couple of days, there will have to be a large increase to the current amount of posting.
