Not sure what you mean by a nosedive but I am expecting a pullback next week. The MAX PAIN point for the OEX is 625 which is about 1250 on the SPX.

When the lems start going over the cliff, look out! Joe 6-pack (buurrrpp) couldn't care less what we conjecture is the reason the market may be doing this or that... he/she just wants OUT!!!

And BTW, we don't know that selling those puts wasn't the thing to do... only time will tell since you MIGHT pick them up cheaper tomorrow!
