<<not wishing to dampen your enthusiasm, but why are these host of new applications not effecting the stock price?>> alan, great question i have no idea what effects or affects rmbs' stock price. we sure as heck don't. LOL i am convinced that rmbs is going up. tomorrow, next week, next month, next quarter, that i do not know. if your timetable is 2002-2003, which we used to talk about here last year, then rmbs is a no-brainer. i simply do not believe that some 75 or more of the world's finest technology corporations are committing mass suicide by swallowing a rambus rdram pill. i believe dave, woodside, bernard, shibumi, timothy, the rambus staff and all the other techies who say sdram and ddrdram are at the end of their useful life cycle. they say the time is now and into the foreseeable future for rdram. they say intel waited until processing speed demanded rdram and that has happened. scheduled future improvements in processor speed require rdram even more. i am glad that we have nintendo. i am thrilled to see sony leap onto the rdram bus. i am thrilled to see mips and arm processors being adapted to the rambus interface.(that is over 40% of the embedded processor market right there). are ti and mo next? that will be the other 60%. i believe fujitsu, hitachi, hyundai, ibm, lg semi, matsushita, micron, mitsubishi, nec, oki, samsung, siemens, toshiba, vanguard, and winbond, all of whom say they are or they will be mass producing rdram this year. i believe the 8 corporations that say they are producing rambus asic products. i believe the 51 corporations that say they are producing rimm for rambus rdram. i believe the 8 corporations that say they are producing test equipment for rdram. i believe dell, cpq, amd, hp, sony, matsushita, fujitsu, nintendo, etc., etc.,etc., that say they have and are continuing to develop mass market consumer products using rdram. i believe the rambus staff when they publicly claim the design win for digital tv. in fact, they said rdram will be the only memory used for digital tv. i was personally present at that meeting. i believe ti when they say they are using rmbs technology for telephone equipment. i believe that the design wins for rdram will continue to pour in. i believe REH's prediction of $18-23 or more in rmbs earnings in 3-4 years. give that a pe of 100. whew!! but alan, i hate to miss anything. so please tell where i am going wrong. i spend a lot of time trying to find a flaw in all of this. if you see it, please enlighten me. thanks for the question, unclewest here is a prediction for you (if milehigh will allow me). i predict rmbs shareprice will double within 15 days, triple or better within 30 days after intc says the situations are resolved and rdram chipsets are available and shipping. i look for that announcement in july or august if not sooner.
