James,

OK, let me ask you. Does this plan have a reasonable chance?
The premise here is that on many days amzn moves up and down, and that if you let it do its thing for a whole day or two, it cycles through its price range a couple of times. Giving a chance to sell at a profit, and cover short at a profit. Providing it is not in a strong trend up or down.

Is it too silly, or what?

I am talking about buy 100 long and 100 short at 133. Place a limit order to sell the long shares at 135, and another limit order to cover the short at 131.
