NW: Has it been decided yet whether the Mason-to-speak-to-Bear- Sterns on Monday is a hoax, or not? If he does speak I can't believe he would say anything negative.

Wouldn't it be nice if the legal attack spurred CPQ to get out early tomorrow before the market with a "clarification". I do think a clarification is coming in the next 7 to 10 days, but doubt it will be tomorrow. (It is not unusual for a company being sued to put out a statement to the effect that the claims of the plaintiffs are rubbish and will be vigorously defended. They could, if they wish beef up such a statement tomorrow, but will probably issue a clarification in a non-legalistic way).

Wonder why these legal were announce after the market? Do you think the plaintiffs continue to be investors and don't want their action to furher depress the stock!

When does EP get back from abroad? I never thought I'd miss his wooden face.
