I'll try to educate you, but it appears you have already made up your mind, incorrectly I might add.
1) The reason that you would buy stock in a company that has shown zero sales for a decade is because that decade was spent perfecting a product and patenting (400+) every aspect of it. They are capable of producing LiPoly batteries in great quantity, today. This information can be confirmed by a call to the company and a search of the patent databases. Remember, you have restated your position to call the investors posting on the bb's frauds, and not the company. Therefore, you should be willing to take their word for it.
2) When LiPoly gains wide market acceptance this little crap company will prosper handsomely because they have many key patents that will need to be licensed by any potential competitors. 3M isn't even making LiPoly laptop batteries which is where VLNC will make its first splash. 3M cells aren't even in the top 5 of LiPoly cellphone battery makers as far as energy capacity and current production capacity. Investment rule #3 for startups: Know the competition. You clearly don't know who the players are or where they stand.
3) Setting up a manufacturing facility in Ireland is a very good move for tax and other incentives. Why not poke fun at IBM and other technology giants who are located there also? Besides, as soon as a contract is announced, VLNC will receive a huge cash payment from NI. I think it is on the order of $8M. Look it up.
4) The Ireland facility is currently producing. This was stated at the last stockholder's meeting and a video tape of the entire operation (producing batteries) was shown to all attendees. Many of which were technical people who verified its authenticity.
You are in over your head Wexler. You know nothing about this technology, or the companies in it. More importantly, you haven't even done basic research on VLNC. You should have asked these questions before taking a position. "Leap before looking" is what you have done in this case.

You remind of "witch-hunt" McCarthy in the 50's, he couldn't tell good from bad either, and that's what brought him down.
