Anyone following the IP communications sector I STRONGLY recommend bookmarking this site: iptelephony.org There is a wealth of information about vendors, service providers, alliances and partnerships, manufacturers ect. And be sure to subscribe to their free weekly newsletter that they e-mail you. This is a great research site. It is not a site about stocks or investing only about the industry and the companies in it. ENJOY, MarkC. P.S. it downloads a little slow about 8-10 seconds

I like QWST for where its going.
I think if they get a nationwide backbone put in it will be a great stock.
Right now, to my knowledge, the only nationwide fiber optic digital network is sprint.
I believe that is an excellent play for long term. (of course amongst others).
Late 99 the numbers for the telcos should start rolling in and I believe the sector will see a significant rise.
