Bill,

>>>> Given GZ's track record, HE is the one who will make the $$$ this week <<<
Maybe he will share it with us. <GGG>

That makes two of us (you and I). I have been frozen to inaction by the crosscurrents in the market. A little opportunistic nibbling is about it. Maybe this si the wall of worry the market needs to climb?!

What's your Barron's read from this weekend?

Dave

Well Bill my indicators resemble lining up a group of economists in the directions of their opinions, predictions and recommendations. It's just a jumbled pile of arms and legs aimed in all directions. Adding to this problem - trying to predict the reactions and counter reactions and for which market? ... I'm holding off till I have clearer indications.
(An example of the convoluted logic of economic thought is the term "Seigniorage". Seigniorage is the interest NOT paid to foreign US dollar holders for NOT purchasing our debt (Treasury bills). In the convolution of economic reports this has been described as interest saved??? And now it is being proposed we pay dollarized countries this saved interest for NOT purchasing our Treasury bills!? === hmmm.)
I had been feeling better about the world's economic situation till I realized this pile of economists and economic thoughts that are shaping the future.
