Re: "It is clear that INTC didn't choose to buy the fab. They paid for it as a result of theft of intellectual properties that was caught, a court decreed punishment for the wrongs they performed"

More nonsense. This was an out of court settlement between the 2 parties. Intel picked up a fab, a StrongArm license, other product lines and an engineering staff. All for about $500 Million. Some might thing Intel stole one from DEC.

Pwetnder - Re: "Should they demand alternate source for all X-86 chips?"

Boy, you're really getting NERVOUS now that your AMD investment is $0.50 UNDER WATER !

You sure have bad luck in the CPU investment game - shorting Intel as it goes skyward and buying AMD while it continues to plummet !

A great contrarian indicator you are !

Please SHORT Intel again - we could use another $10 run up.

By "we" I mean me an the other AMD die hards like Kevin and Jimbo McMannis - who also are Intel shareholders !
