Could the next step be HyperTV? Sci-Fi to Simulcast on Web New York -- Sci Fi Channel said it will simulcast the Friday (March 19) launch of its first full night of original programming on its Web site, using video-streaming technology. The Sci Fi site will target viewers who don't subscribe to cable or whose operators have not added the network. The network said it wants to more fully integrate its on-air and online images. It will also change the name of its web site from The Dominion to SCIFI.COM. The simulcast begins at 7 p.m. eastern, with Poltergeist: The Legacy. - 3/12/99
