The seperateness of our denominations has caused no good thing IMO.

Dan;

We grow up to hopefully love our parents. All parents are not the same. All people are not the same..... Your concept sounds great :-) but as I have said before this is Earth NOT Heaven. The spiritual concept is great but spiritual can be Good or Bad depending on where the spiritual guidance is coming from.... Since we are NOT perfect we could be deceived. I like Chinese food as well as Italian food.... I enjoy many things that are derived from different cultures all around the world. I feel many in this country are in their own little bubble....... Many people are not all blessed with Bibles readily available to read and absorb many are just happy to get food on the table if a table is even available some use leaves to hold their food if their is any food at all. A man yells out God help me or lord forgive me where does this fall into Christianity. A child born in a poverty situation in a country with no resources just pure poverty with no food to eat just skin and bones makes it to his twenties but in poor health only to whither and die at an early age of say twenty one... Do you think this situation does not happen millions of times over.... Were do these people find Christ let alone even a Bible to read... and mind you they most likely cant read at all.... According to Christian theology its hell bound for this example and many Millions fall into this one example. A Jewish boy loves his parents and they in turn love him back equally.... the son honors his parents and loves them they in turn give their son support and much love in return. They board a plane and the plane goes nose down with their fate being obvious they hold each other and cry out to the only God they know.... Do you think this does not happen? Do you think ALL people who do not find him in this life are Evil to the extent of eternal Damnation? My belief with regards to salvation is very clear in the Bible and it is for us not to Judge..... Yes for myself I am happy with were I stand and the great gift of what Christ has done for me but the reality is that what he has done was for all humanity not just for a select few that feel they or somewhat more righteous over others. Did God chose the Pharisees or did he chose someone like Moses and lets not forget Noah who many thought had a few screws loose. Was God attracted to the well learned in the Synagogues or attracted to the ones who tended their sheep in the wilderness. Let's not forget Christ..... Did he endow himself with fancy garments as the Pharisees were a custom to or was he just plain jane. Did he set himself up with a huge temple or did he go out and share with others under a simple tree or barren lands. Is God gracious and just?... He is ALL that and more IMO for when he sees us it is not by the words we spout that will get us a key into heaven but our thoughts and our being and how we have Judged others.

Lk:23:42: And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

And Jesus replied;

43: And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

How many people do you think cried out Lord remember me when death was eminent..... How many do you think cried out God please help me. Read the previous statement by the prisoner on the Cross its all their in a nut shell....

41: And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

This statement shows this mans heart. He acknowledges his sin.... we see it in his few words but the Lord sees much more than his few words he sees his spirit of why he chose to sacrifice his life for.

Now look at the words of the condemned prisoner who clearly shows what God does not receive.

39: And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.

He did NOT acknowledge his sin... He was more interested in being saved no matter what the reasoning..... His cry out was more of a mocking than a repentive heart.......

How many do you think have cried out in the only way they knew how... Who are we to Judge how many he chooses to deliver as he did the prisoner who hung next to him on the cross.

Yes we are all human... What does culture or race have to do with pride? Some fall into this trap but their are others who do NOT..
Many GOOD things come out of MANY cultures. Race is a reality and life is a very complicated maze.

Dan this is not at all directed at you remember they are my thoughts and convictions.......
