That is not unbeatable but for now there is no American company that can come close. Never in their history did they execute that well. Also what is this about MU going after the Taiwanese? Who cares? What will the meager number of parts they produce do to the overall picture? I guess get the press where you can; keeps Kip employed.

What an incredibly simple-minded post that was. Why do you even bother? You might as well tell me what MU's average stock price was last year. It has as much relevance. What makes you think that 1998 market share statistics (indicative of 16meg and 64meg production at 0.25-0.28 micron) relevant to what the next 12-24 months is going to hold. Did you also happen to mention (in the same article) that the reason for the strong performances of the Koreans LAST YEAR is due to capex decisions made in 1996-97? My how selective you are. I must admit that your post have entertainment value but does anyone really take you seriously? HO HO HO HA HA HA etc. etc. (yawn)
