Hi Richard,

Thanks for your response. Yeah, I'm pretty happy with the deal I got on NT. I'm going to email Atacom an apology for all the nasty things I said. I don't think they took me too seriously, though -- I don't think they were even paying attention <g>. All that stuff would probably never have happened if I had had a credit card. Well, I just signed up for a debit card which works the same, so I'll be on the retail fast track from now on ('til the money runs out).

Regarding my NT installation, I did install SP3&4 with the same results.

Sounds to me like Technet will be the best resource since it's free. I did register for it but didn't get too far in to using it. I guess it will take me a while to get oriented, and get the answers I'm looking for. Will probably also get a coupla books. The great thing is, I'm not in a big hurry <g>.

Thanks again for your help along the way,
wily

PS Atacom is a pretty good place to shop on-line. Their selection and price isn't quite as good as buy.com but you can at least talk to a real person. Even then, the people are usually slightly hurried and not fully informed about the products, but a guy named Larry is very knowledgable -- ask for him.

I'm actually thinking of trying buy.com when I get my new monitor. People on the Dream thread have bought there successfully (some problems, too). Can't beat their prices, so I might give it a shot.
