Lately I have been taking a little Benadryl to help me sleep. One 25 mg. tablet does the trick, but I can't take it if I have to do something more challenging in the morning than give the kids breakfast and take them to school. If I take two, I get the paradoxical wired effect. Sometimes I get the weepies around bedtime, a couple of drinks and I start boo-hooing about stuff, and the benadryl has the additional benefit of drying my nose out so I can breathe.

Benadryl useta cut me off at the knees. It's lost that effect on me, probably because I took so much of it. Now it makes me kinda agitated and unpleasant to be around. And it makes my legs twitch.

Bad drugs.
