Thanks for the reference. From your past postings one can conclude that you don't like Inprise products and you obviously are not convinced of Del's strategy. Then why are you even wasting your time posting here. There are many companies to invest in. Small caps unfortunately have high beta and hence cannot be subject for long term investment. I happen to think that Inprise - which makes less than 5% of my portfolio has a chance of doubling from the present price based on P/S. However, I do agree with you that Del has not been able to deliver share performance - I don't like the name change or the price he paid for Visigenic, but these are now done deals. The company today is an enterprise player with a growing customer base - a healthy cash position, low debt and P/S of almost 1. I happen to like Borland products and hence my interest in the company.

Rod,

Your reply to Maher is a case in proof of a point he was making.

I have been an investor in NOVL since it was at 11 going down to 7 then back and up to 25. I saw your posts on the NOVL thread when the stock was around 10, having improved from the 7-8. Never did I see you defend or praise the Good Dr. On the contrary, you were negative just like you are now about INPR.

On another issue, I recall, when BORL was 12, NOVL was about 8. Nobody at the thread wanted to hear about NOVL then. In fact, someone told me, on this thread, not to mention the two companies in the same sentence. Things have turned around. What goes around may still come around. It is not unrealistic, in my mind, to see INPR one day yet trading at a price above that of NOVL.

Go INPR and Go NOVL.

Ghassan.
