Pretty good. I once led an adult education seminar on existentialist philosophers, including selections from Soren Kierkegaard's "Fear and Trembling", and I was appalled at the level of anti- religious bigotry I encountered when we got to that reading. All of the charitable works that have come from the churches, all of the monasteries keeping civilization alive after the Fall of Rome, all of the exaltation of the humble that may have paved the way for democracy, it all meant nothing as compared to the usual litany of failings...
