There are a variety of reasons why people who are long in a stock would come here to defend it. First and foremost is because they have money invested in it. In each case what you Wexler lemmings need to decide is whether or not Wexler has done his homework. In this case, he looked for a familiar pattern of a high quantity of internet posts, coupled with a high market valuation, and thought he struck gold. If he had dug deeper to understand why Wall Street values the company so richly, he would have discovered that it is because of VLNC's enormous, soon to be realized, potential. Their patent portfolio is the best in the field of LiPoly batteries by a wide margin. As this technology becomes mainstream (which everyone seems to agree on), VLNC with their volume production capability and strong patent portfolio will likely be in the driver's seat. At the very least, they'll be in the passenger seat. I'm not arguing that you shouldn't short this stock, I'm arguing that you should BUY it! Even the long time VLNC bears are advising against shorting it! Shouldn't that give you a clue?
