FBI tried to delay publication of NYT article on Chinese infiltration of Los Alamos facility according to today's Washington Post. The story is buried in the Style Section (I think) and basically states that FBI asked NYT to delay publication because they were interrogating the Chinese-American scientist. NYT agreed to postpone the publication for one day (from Thursday) but, the FBI asked for another extension. NYT replied that only a personal call from FBI director before 7:00 p.m. can delay the story for another day; the call never came. I'll try to post the piece from home later today (unless Director Freeh calls and asks for a delay!) Ciao, CA
