Nortel<NTL.NO>Microsoft, Intel, HP to announce tie STOCKHOLM, March 15 (Reuters) - Canadian computer equipment manufacturer Nortel Networks <NTL.TO> called on Monday a news conference to announce the launch of telecoms equipment venture with U.S. Microsoft <MSFT.O>, Intel <INTC.O> and Hewlett-Packard <HWP.N>. Nortel said in a statement released in Stockholm that Microsoft President Bill Gates, Nortel Chief Executive John Roth, Hewlett-Packard CEO Lewis Platt and Intel Chief Executive Craig Barrett would take part via satellite in the 1845 GMT news conference.
