Also letting the EPIE stock drop makes it less likely that YF may hold onto the stock (from point of view of EPIE) longer term.

Positive side is if YF wants to buy the rest of EPIE... a dropping stock makes it easier and easier to do it on the open market.

My thoughts...

Graham

The sale could be viewed as either negative or positive but nobody can know for sure. It could be viewed as negative if Matrix no longer liked the story and wanted to take some money off the table. It could be viewed as positive if Matrix sold the stock to a group looking to takeover EPIE.

With respect to $13.00, our recollection is that YF made an offer at this level but ownership is actually at lower levels. At the end of the day, YF would probably prefer to see a lower stock price and take the benefit of a lower acquisition cost vs. lower realized gains on current EPIE shares.
