Down hole PEM surveys will produce the best results if the hole has gone some distance (>100 m) beyond the mineralized zone. The deeper hole is necessary because the geophysical instrument gets to "see" the conductor both approaching the mineralized zone and leaving it. With this information, the person interpreting the geophysical data can locate the conductor as precisely as possible. If the hole only goes to the mineralized zone, the geophysical survey can be limited in either direction or distance to the conductor.

With regard to the number of holes that have been completed, there may very well be 3 to 4 holes completed to date because there are two operating drills, but only 1.5 to 2 of these holes will be around the discovery site.
