Can anyone access www.cbsmarketwatch.com or www.yahoo.com ? I'm jammed. Yahoo works off one of the satellites. Anything wrong there? weather causing a problem? how does cbsmarketwatch broadcast ?

FLT / Shawmut - Shawmut prob did ok - one major thing about real estate was, aside from credit quality (ie performing, non-performing), could a co with significant mortgage loans, ride out a real estate cycle - ie. investment portfolio illiquid.

Concept of liquidity - keep your portfolio liquid unless you absolutely don;t need or mind losing the $ or willing to wait a long time - in good times, the tendancy is to buy things you wouldn't in less fortunate times eg. co's whose shares don't trade much, BB stks, etc.

Just try to pass on some advice - maybe you all know this, if not, hope it's helped.
