I just posted a note on the Myth thread that relates to the Japanese scene. Like you, I think it is a "pump" to get the Nikkei up to assist the year end and "Big Bang Part 3".

Howard, I think the Nikkei is in trouble until they raise rates. So, I consider the move to these levels as short term. But shorting such a depressed market is awfully risky. I would look at the Nikkei puts instead. MB
