S3 dropped out of the deal. I don't believe that they even use any of the technology from Faroudja but I may be mistaken. I believe that most of their seed money over the last couple of years was wasted as were many of their forays into new markets such as modems, audio chips, and virtual reality software. Hopefully Ken can correct this track record with his new market ventures.
