I guess OMGA is going to have company:

"Trade Portal Debuts for Advanced Day Traders"

biz.yahoo.com

Level II, etc., $19.95 trades, website at tradeportal.com
Broker/Dealer via Rockland Securities

$200/mo via net, $350 via direct POP dial, waved at 250 trades/mo.

"TradeMatrix(TM) Software -- A proprietary Trade Portal tool that filters a broad range of stocks and their trading patterns, then analyzes them to anticipate next moves and identifies potential profitable set-ups for trade execution. For the first time, day traders can manage an optimum amount of data in real-time and be alerted to acutely subtle movements in trading activity and direction. "

"Advanced GET(TM) Software -- from Trading Techniques Inc. charts live market data, incorporating TradeMatrix analysis to yield a comprehensive, graphical picture of history and projected trends."

Mary, I'm curious. Did they make it clear during the seminar that the full product was $2400?

Re: OMGA

I would like to better understand a posting that you made to me:

"Went to OMGA's sales seminar on Sunday. Impressive software, about 100 to 150 people there...they give you the entire system for $4.94 for 30 days to try, plus an 8 hr training seminar for only $49.95.

People could not sign up fast enough. Overheard they have 8000 orders (backordered) and will be shipping the latest version next Friday."

Are you saying "people could not sign up fast enough" for the $4.94 software to try for 30 days? That's how I interpret this posting.

My guess is they probably have backorders of their software from 8,000 people who purchased it at $4.94 30 day trial version price.

Please clarify. Thanks, Rob
