Millionaire.com Names New Board Of Directors, New Public Relations andInvestor Relations Firms
HILTON HEAD, S.C., March 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Millionaire.com (OTC Bulletin Board: MLRE) today announced the election of a new Board of Directors. The composition of the Board of Directors was restructured in connection with the acquisition of The Great Gatsby's Auction Gallery, Inc., located in Atlanta, Georgia, in February 1999. The new Board is comprised of the following nine members: Robert L. White, A.J. Nassar, W. Ken Costanzo, Dean Echols, David Strong, Robert Slack, Marie Kowalik, J. Michael Nixon and Dr. Richard Sander.
Robert L. White -- Mr. White, 53, has served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Millionaire.com since November 1998. Mr. White also serves as Chairman of the Board of Millionaire.com Mr. White was the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Robb Report magazine which he sold in 1983. He has worked globally in the publishing, antique and collectible industry for over 30 years.
A.J. Nassar -- Mr. Nassar, 42, has served as President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of The Maxim Group, Inc., a leading floor covering retailer, since 1990. From 1986 to 1990, Mr. Nassar served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Kenny Carpet and Linoleum, Inc.
W. Ken Costanzo -- Mr. Costanzo, 46, is a former senior executive of the Fortune 500, W.R. Grace & Co. Over a 20-year period with Grace, Mr. Costanzo's responsibilities included executive posts in Marketing, Sales and Business Development, and Human Resources. Today, Mr. Costanzo is President of Executive Solutions, Inc., where he and his firm work closely with senior executives both domestically and internationally in the areas of business and organizational development.
Dean Echols -- Mr. Echols, 54, is the Director of Government Services of Manheim Auctions Government Services. Government Services is a unit of Manheim Auctions, a Cox Enterprise company selling over six million units annually, valued at $30 billion, from 80 auction locations in every major North American market as well as Europe. With nearly 40 years experience in the auction industry, Mr. Echols has significant expertise in the marketing and the sale of a broad range of merchandise, including vehicles, antiques, jewelry, art and equipment.
David Strong -- Mr. Strong, 55, is a Senior Vice President of Marketing of Millionaire.com. Previously, over a 23-year period, he was extensively involved in the development of Hilton Head Island, S.C. His prior positions include President of Diversified Properties Group and Vice President of the Hilton Head Company. He also served in similar capacities with Prudential Commercial Services. Mr. Strong was a past Director of the Hilton Head Chamber of Commerce, Director of the Hilton Head Board of Realtors and has held several other leadership positions in the Hilton Head community.
Robert Slack -- Mr. Slack, 57, founded The Great Gatsby's Auction Gallery, Inc. in 1979 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. Gatsby's, which was acquired by Millionaire.com in February 1999, is an Atlanta-based auctioneer and wholesale gallery of fine arts, interior and exterior furnishings, antiques and collectibles.
Marie Kowalik -- Ms Kowalik, 44, is President of Millionaire.com. She is also President of The Great Gatsby's Auction Gallery and has served in this capacity since December 1998. Previously, for twelve years she served as Senior Vice President of CarpetOne, a floor covering trade cooperative.
J. Michael Nixon -- Mr. Nixon, 54, has been an executive officer and co-owner of Q.I. Corporation, a building materials contractor, since 1967. Mr. Nixon is also a director of The Maxim Group, Inc.
Dr. Richard L. Sander -- Dr. Sander, 53, has served as the athletic director of Virginia Commonwealth University for the past 13 years. Under his administration, the VCU athletic program has undergone significant changes and gained national recognition for its success, as he also introduced multi- million dollar capital improvements to university programs.
