I you simply refer to MSFT as a figurehead then you have not been following what QWST and MSFT have been doing or what MSFT and INTC have been doing with small business. While we have been told this is a NT initiative it also fits very well with what MSFT needed - to open a huge channel for e-commerce. An area that will provide increasing returns as we move into the next century.
