HD, usually the acquirer dips, the acquiree rises....in general.

Looks like short-term "investors" bailing because they believe the move decreases the possibility of a buy-out. IMO this move makes the co. a much more attractive target and also gives a hint that perhaps the co. is serious about standing alone for as long as possible.
