To other options learnings novices (like me)
Warning:
I just found out about problem number two with selling covered calls (problem number one of course is having your DELL taken away when you didnt want to relinquish)
Problem number two: losing control of those shares for a while: e.g. I have Knight-Trimark, the market maker stock (Nite) and it has not been performing as well as the others in its group so as it began to go up (I have it at 45) I sold cov calls at 50 for $3.75 giving me about a 20% profit in six weeks. (March, expires this Friday) . However now it began going up further and I would have liked to sell it at 58 but couldnt because of the cov call. So I had lost control of the shares.
On to Dow 10,000!
I have my home computer again. Still waiting on my DELL card to order th new DELL.
