Looks like another BRKB fizzle. This stock may not go anywhere this year. Looks like people read the annual report and concluded buffett had a bad year (for him) and although Berkshire sits on a ton of cash, Buffett has not deployed the money and says he sees nothing to buy. So the market is saying to hell with you then. What have you done for us lately. Sold my shares this A>M> Keeping money in Berkshire in this bull market is counterproductive. When a bear market begins that may be another story but for now Berkshire to me is looking more and more like, In Richard Nixon's phrase, a "pitiful helpless giant>" I have better places to put my money until I hear the sound of the bear. I regret saying the investor with the most integrity and honesty of them all is not producing a good return compared to what I can achieve in America On Line, EMC, Dell, Microsoft, and SUNW. It may be that the era of Buffett is over --at least until a huge bear market appears.
Buffett needs to buy something or this is just a conglomerate of companies with no raison d'etre and the day Buffett passes, that will become painfully clear. I wish Warren would swing at a pitch.
