March 16, 1999 is the Super Tuesday for speech making by Fed Governors.
Chairman Greenspan and three governors are giving speeches in San
Francisco, Washington, D.C., East Lansing, Michigan, and Dallas.

The question is: is this a coincidence or a coordinated decision to
deliver some important message to the markets in terms of preparing them
for Fed policy changes?

We know that Fed tries to pick its spot in terms of
generating market impact. I would suggest paying extra attention to the speeches and the markets' reactions to them.
