what will make you really happy these days?

Well, since you asked:

IBM could announce a major technology agreement with FORE (now that ALA's got XYLN).

FORE could start some reorganization, learn to concentrate on its strengths (carrier class switching), and stop trying to be the giant killer.

If they're not willing to get bought (if anyone's still seriously interested), they could go along way by partnering up with companies that have what FORE needs. Seems like even a deal with a company like CS might even allow them to increase their offerings, and expand their customer base.

and, on a slightly personal level, you could divulge what your interest is in FORE. I'm not sure why you disappeared for 4 days, by I have a feeling it has something to do with the fact that you were pissing so many people off (yeah, I read your chop suey comments. No place for that kind of crap anywhere). You would go a lot farther if rather than just repeating your constant buy recommendations, you provided a little background on why. Your profile, and thousands of posts, so far have revealed nothing.

That, and a good kick in the ass for CPQ, COMS, and those freakin' software companies, and I'd be delighted.

Failing that, maybe just a world without hate (after seeing Schindler's List again, it's hard not to wonder....).

James

PS - the tone of your posts already seems a little tamer. Are we witnessing the emergence of a new Jach (city)?

How about <anything> that would lead to a steadily rising FORE share price? FORE is rapidly duplicating the trading patterns of NSM, AMD, and other such losers. Yeah, yeah, I know FORE's got great products, is doubling their workforce, and all that. None of it has translated to the bottom line in a significant, meaningful, consistent way that makes the share price move up and stay up. FORE is trading lower than it was FORE (that's 4 in layman's terms =-) years ago.

Fore is a great company that could do much better with a different
leadership at the helm. That would make me happy....
