hello mick and all:

moreno - optimistic, 'eh moreno? actually i believe the future of krt depends on who owns the 5% of the BB (yes i hear it is bulletin board moreno) shell we are "buying". that plus the results (some seem to have forgotten this). right now we are pink sheets in the u.s. with hopes of a BB listing via a shell buyout. i'm with the group that says anyway off the vse is the right way....
-
maher - 3529 - i was told there were such animals as shell nasdaq companies maher. surprised me but this is what i hear. i didn't do much research in this area as i don't really care that much about it. krt is interested in a shell BB company.
-
diTa - 3533 - couldn't agree more...

Anyway you can get off the VSE is justified in my opinion. Except for a few companies (ARP,UTO,FMI), the VSE has been very unkind.

Companies like KRT can hardly blame the VSE for being unkind. After all, they have largely contributed to its reputation. Is changing the exchange going to solve their problems or to compound them?

This deal may be in the interest of some of the principals of the other company and they may try to pressure KRT management into it. I fail to see how it will work in the interest of KRT shareholders.

Dilute the stock for the privilege of trading over the counter? Amazing but not surprising.

OTC in the USA guarantees against a Debeers take over due to
the American laws against cartels. Good or bad I don't know
but it is a fact.

Best way to get off the VSE is get rid of the VSE. Today it was announced in the news that the VSE and the ASE (alberta stock exchange) are going to merge. What do you want to bet that the VSE will be gone. There is no way it will remain in Vancouver with the Socialist Union attitude in this province, but it will go to the land of the free, in Alberta.

The ASE has been wooing VSE companies by offering them free sign up etc. The VSE has lost.

Also the Montreal Stock exchange is being done away with and joining with the TSE.

My thoughts,

Mike G
