ot re: My Buy on Webtrend to everyone that is deluging me with PM, e-mail, singing telegrams, and carrier pigeons, below is my reasoning. First Client list and what the do. The WebTrends Enterprise Suite v.3.0 released December 1998, offers advanced web site management for large enterprise and eBusiness sites by combining WebTrends' award-winning cartridges for web site traffic analysis, proxy server analysis, link analysis, quality control and monitoring, alerting and recovery of Internet servers. The Enterprise Suite supports clustered environments and also provides advanced functionality to integrate high-end database solutions permitting advanced, custom analysis for organizations looking to improve the performance, effectiveness and return on investment of their Internet or intranet servers. The Company Founded in 1993, the WebTrends Corporation (NASDAQ:WEBT) is a leading provider of enterprise management and reporting solutions for Internet and intranet servers and firewalls. WebTrends offers organizations a comprehensive set of solutions that are integrated, scaleable, modular, and easy-to-use. Products include the WebTrends Log Analyzer, WebTrends Security Analyzer, WebTrends Professional Suite, WebTrends Enterprise Suite and WebTrends for Firewalls and VPNs. They are used by thousands of customers, including Infoseek, AT&T, Cable & Wireless, DaimlerChrysler, DIGEX, Intel, Pharmacia & Upjohn, and the US House of Representatives. WebTrends' many strategic partners include Check Point Software, Hewlett Packard, Lotus Development, Netscape Communications, Oracle, Verio, WatchGuard Technologies, Netcom On-Line Communication Services, and AbleSolutions. Do they make money? Yes pos. rev Are they recent IPO Yes. and they haven't sold off yet. Webtrend is the big brother of the Net, no wonder the US House of Representatives. Do I have target. No. It' would be folly me to put a target on it. It's too new. So no trends yet for me to graph. Is it a trade. Yes, unless it develops into more then that. Every time a I buy a stock it takes me time to get to know it. I could research the heck out of it I still wouldn't know the company completely. Because of this time lag in getting to know company that is so new like Webtrends, they are trades unless they prove other wise. So I add once the story unfolds, and the market speaks to me on how they will treat a stock like Webtrends during sell offs and recoveries. Greg
