Maybe, but we could be at a short-term bottom today. Check out the little peaks on Nov 11-12 and Nov 23, right around 47 1/2 (but peaks were at 48). We don't have giant volume here suggesting any new support right here, but it could just easily be down some more and it isn't.

Remember how Kurlak used to come out with his big blasts just at the points where MU either had just broken through some support/resistance or trendline, or was about to? And how one would think at the end of the day, "Yes! Now the fun begins!" Then you wake up the next morning and see some Kurlak tout or anti-tout and blammo you're out of business.

We know that 50 is important just by eyeballing the graph; if it closes below HAL's number-crunched 49 15/16 today, and it looks like it will (broad markets have weakened considerably in the last hour, so we shouldn't count on a broad rally at the end of the day), we might see ol Danny Boy hit the fax machines by tomorrow morning to save 48. Hard to believe that all his important institutions, funds, whoever, aren't out long ago, but I think we've decided as a thread that his "contract" runs through March and INTC/TXN final clearance.
