They could declare a stock dividend, forcing MM's to cover (or they'd end up having to pay for the dividend themselves for all the shares they've sold short). They can request shareholders to fax in their holdings to prove that MM's have sold more shares than exist in the float. There's other things which could be done. Best thing to do is to continue to come out with great news and generate more buying. Eventually, MM's will cover and move on to something else. Gator
