But only SUN sells its hardware (or software for that matter). You don't see HP or Dell reselling SUN's hardware or Solaris. Now they will be selling Merced loaded with Linux. SUN's bread and butter is the high end - at least that's what I've always read. Do they generate a large share of their revenue from these lower end machines? My understanding was that NT had basically taken much of the workstation market away from SUN.
