Now you know why I suggested that it might be OJ's car?

Know what you mean about the advancements in drilling techniques. In fact, I think there are several on this thread who came here as refugees from the Strictly Drilling thread... Challo, Marie, Beeble, and possibly a few others. At any rate, I met Challo and Marie over there first, as I recall.

Jorj,

I am with you on the oils. I worked 13 years in the domestic oilfield industry watching it slowly die off, before I finally bailed out.

Just the Saudi's alone could supply the whole world for over 100 years. Their cost of production is 2 to 4 dollars a barrel, for light sweet crude,(The best kind). Essentially, all they have to do is open the valves a little more.

The problem with OPEC is that too many countries have no other way to produce hard currency and so it is very hard to get them to cut production.

So, I believe the OPEC talks are just like they've always been. Long on hype, but little substance. The world is awash in oil.

It is hard to believe that a gallon of gasoline costs less than a bottle of water.
