Don, why would BDL wants to have stock split? It's only 12 1/2 now.

Have you tried one of their restaurant? If I want to invest in restaurant business, if possible, I would at least dine there a few times.

Interesting arena. Last fall I had a wierd dream about Arco being acquired by a technology firm. It seemed stupid and ARC was down to 64 that day. So, I bought a few calls. Next day the stock was up nearly $3 and the calls $2. Next they just sat there, so I sold after holding one week at $2 profit, less commissions. Ridiculous investment guidance, but it worked out okay. However, I don't think I would want to bet much on it in the future. Calls if cheap though can be a fine way to exploit such ideas without major risks.
