TORONTO, 15 mars (Reuters) - Le fabricant canadien
d'quipement de tlcommunication Nortel Networks <NTL.TO> doit
annoncer une alliance quatre avec des gants de l'informatique
Microsoft Corp., Intel Corp. et Hewlett-Packard Co. d'ici la
fin de la journe lundi.
Nortel n'a pas voulu donner de dtails, mais des analystes
croient que les quatre socits devraient annoncer que Nortel et
Hewlett-Packard <HWP.N> dvelopperont des applications
technolgiques utilisant des produits d'Intel <INTC.O> et de
Microsoft destines au march de la transmission de la voix, des
vidos et des donnes chez les entreprises.
Ce nouveau type de rseaux informatiques devrait diminuer le
cot des services tlphoniques traditionnels de clients
d'affaires.
Le chef de la direction de Nortel, John Roth, doit annoncer
la nouvelle lors d'une confrence de presse San Jose, en
Californie, 14H00 HNE.
Le Financial Times de Londres a rapport que cette entente
pourrait permettre Microsoft et Intel, dont les logiciels et
microprocesseurs dominent dj le march informatique, de pntrer
le march des rseaux de tlcommunication, valu quelque 250
milliards$ US./CG/JR

Jan, I gotcha. I feel pretty strong about not having a margin account.
My daughter not long ago asked me if I thought she should have a margin account. After I explained the rewards and, told her the risk. She asked me if she got a fed call would I bail her out.
I told her the she did all the studying and work and, I paid all her college bills.Now that she's graduated she's on her own but, If she got a fed call and, ends up in jail. I'd come to visit her, but that's all.:-)
