Check out Syquest Technologies before it went bust - inventory was a mountain:

Note - they have not filed any financials since this 6/98 10-Q.
I don't have the time right now to do the Z-ratio on Syquest, but if anyone on the thread does I'd be eager to hear the results - it should be a good litmus test for the formula. I can't think of too many other well-known companies that have gone bust recently - I believe Boston Chicken was the most recent casualty before Syquest.
